WASC has an AI policy that is based on a dedication to maintaining the highest standards of morality, academic honesty, and responsible technology use. As a school committed to promoting intellectual development and excellence, we are aware of the revolutionary potential of AI tools in the fields of academic writing and research. We stress that although AI can improve education and research, its application needs to be morally and sensibly done.

Our goal is to achieve academic excellence, and to that end, we support and enhance human-driven research and writing endeavors with the responsible application of AI tools.
